Coyotes in the Community
MISSION STATEMENT
The Central Valley Coyotes front office, players and coaches are driven to make a positive impact in the community by assisting others through the many partnerships, programs and initiatives that we will be implementing.
GIVE A KID A GAME PROGRAM
“Give a kid a Game” is the official ticket donation program of the Central Valley Coyotes. This program allows individuals and corporations to purchase tickets for donation to non-profit, after-school athletic programs, sports camps and organizations benefiting underprivileged children. These tickets are routed through the community relations department and allow children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to see professional sports in the Central Valley.
READ TO ACHIEVE PROGRAM
Coyote players and coaches make appearances at various elementary schools through our “Read to Achieve” program. Encouraging and promoting literacy among youth is the mission of the reading program. This season, the Coyotes have teamed up with local libraries to elevate future reading. Coyote players, coaches, dancers, and staff members will be visiting elementary schools within the Fresno County Unified School District registered in the program reading to students with a goal of delivering a message of hard work, teamwork, leadership, support, and the importance of education. In support of the program local libraries will be providing various books and activities to enhance the excitement and reading. It is our commitment to further the growth of the Fresno youth.
